Good People, Great Times, Amazing Festival.

The Ely Film Festival debuted in March 2019, amid the onset of Covid-19.
Over the last four years, our festival has grown into a larger event that now offers more Film, more Art, and more Music for students and independent filmmakers of all ages.

Our 2023 Ely FAM Festival host location, in the heart of Ely, Nevada, is the Historic Heritage site, the Central Theatre!
In addition, the National Historic Landmark, the Nevada Northern Railway, one of the Original Founding Partners of the Festival will host Ely FAM Festival VIP pass holders on a special Sunset, Stars, and Champagne Train as part of our Event-packed FAM Weekend, as well as offer Movie Set Tours and Horror in the High Desert walks through the darkened rail yard.

We are also excited to announce that this year, 2023, will be our first fully independent year under our own 501c3, focusing on bringing more Film, Art, and Music into Ely, White Pine County, the Great Basin, and Nevada, to make cultural and visual arts more accessible to students of all ages.

We look forward to having you be a part of the festivities, as a competitor for prizes and cash awards, as a cinephile, sponsor, or as a new member of the FAM.
